Advisory released to avoid Carpenter and Morgan roads due to fire

The Pittsfield Township Department of Public Safety has put out an advisory to avoid Carpenter and Morgan roads due to a transformer fire in the area.
The area affected is North of Michigan Avenue and South of Ellsworth Road, according to a release sent by the department.
No more information about the fire was available early Sunday afternoon.
