3 hospitalized after postal truck collides with SUV
A 53-year-old Ann Arbor woman driving a U.S. Postal truck pulled in front of an SUV in Green Oak Township last week, and the ensuing collision sent three people to the hospital, according to a report in the Observer & Eccentric.
According to the report, Green Oak Township police responded at 11:40 a.m. Thursday to the intersection of a private road and Hi Tech Drive, north of M-36 and west of Old U.S. 23. The westbound Mercury Mountaineer collided with the postal truck, which was pulling out of the private road.
The report stated witnesses told police the Mountaineer rolled three times. One woman was extricated from the Mountaineer and was taken to University of Michigan Hospital, along with two other passengers.
The three people in the Mountaineer suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to the report. The Ann Arbor woman reported minor injuries.

It happens all the time in the dexter area,those delivering the mail. They do not look when they leave one mail box for another. They think just because they have there turn signals flashing they don't have to look. I saw one the other day pull out in front of a very large semi and how he missed splattering her only the lord knows.
