March is youth art and music month in Downtown Ann Arbor
Downtown Ann Arbor businesses are supporting and celebrating student art and music this month.
The Main Street Area Association and Ann Arbor Public Schools Art and Music Departments are working together to bring student art and music to the community. Wonderful works of art will be displayed in downtown businesses throughout the month of March. An eclectic mix of art ranging from oil pastels to needle point will be in storefront windows and inside your favorite shops and restaurants.
Students will be recognized at a reception hosted by Palio Restaurant on Sunday, March 28, 2010.
Dr. Todd Roberts, Superintendent of the Ann Arbor Public Schools, will be on hand to offer his congratulations to the students.
Musical ensembles will be playing at Palio Restaurant, 16 Hands Gallery, and Vault of Midnight throughout the afternoon on March 28th, in honor of this very special month downtown.
