getDowntown's Commuter Challenge competition update: guess who is winning?

We're halfway through the Commuter Challenge and we've got some great things to show for it. Here's an overview of the competition so far.

Commuter Challenge Stats
  • Number of organizations and businesses signed up to participate: 183 (a Challenge record)
  • Number of participants signed up to participate: 2,172 (a Challenge record)
  • Number of commutes logged: 5,778
  • Number of sustainable miles logged: 93,742 miles

1 person organization: Ann Arbor Cello School is still holding strong at number 1, but the Literacy Coalition isn't far behind.

2-10 person organizations: Dascola Barbers holds the top spot, with Beagle Brain nipping at their heels.

11-25 person organizations: SRT Solutions is still in the lead, but last year's winner ApplEcon isn't giving up.

26-50 person organizations: Newcomer Michigan Theater Foundation is out in front with REI Ann Arbor at a close second.

51-100 person organizations: Mathematical Reviews claims the top spot, with last year's winners University of Michigan - CoE - AOSS just inches away.

101-500 person organizations: Infor Global Solutions holds the lead, with Zingerman's Delicatessan hoping to get in on the action.

500+ person organizations: Thomson Reuters is way out in front with Toyota Technical Center in second place.
