West Stadium Boulevard road reconstruction project set to finish Nov. 3
The road construction project that started mid-summer on West Stadium Boulevard is almost finished and the road should be completely re-opened by Nov. 3, according to a notice from the city of Ann Arbor.
Over the next two weeks, the city plans to install the rest of a concrete curb, sidewalk and light poles, and finish paving, adjusting manhole covers and laying down topsoil and seed.
The bottom two layers of asphalt between Franklin Boulevard and Hutchins Avenue is expected to be laid on Oct. 26. The paving of the final layer of asphalt across the entire road is set for Nov. 1-2. Lane lines will be drawn on Nov. 3, at which point the road will be able to re-open. Trees will be planted in the spring.

I thought the same thing Mary D. It has been a long time coming since March. Next up, and long overdue, the Stadium Bridge. And it is also time to repave the section of Ann Arbor-Saline that goes over 94 (between Eisenhower and Lohr). That is a horrid section of road. (Parts of the on/exit ramps need more work too.) When is this going to happen? Ed Vielmetti, any info?

Motorists have been re-routed due to construction on W. Stadium Boulevard since March 2, not mid-summer as the article states. http://www.a2gov.org/government/publicservices/project_management/upcomingprojects/Pages/WestStadiumReconstruction(SuffolktoHutchins).aspx
