It's perfect weather in Ann Arbor for ... a squirrel to eat a cherry?
Earlier this week, we asked readers to send us photos from around the neighborhood as they were out enjoying this nice, warm, sunny spring weather.
Jennifer Lynn sent in this photo of "Eileen," a squirrel that visits her Hollywood Park home on Ann Arbor's West Side almost daily. The photo above was taken in Lynn's backyard, outside her sliding glass door on a patio, she wrote in an e-mail.

The squirrels around my house love apples. If I get an apple with soft spots, I don't garbage it -- just toss it onto the backyard deck for the varmints to enjoy.

My mother had a squirrel come right up to her deck and literally beg. Two little fore paws looking right at her. She tried to give it several things to no avail. I think I know now what it wanted...a cherry. Great story. Sending this on to my mother to keep cherries in the house.

What a great photo! It's nice to know I'm not the ONLY person who gives names to the squirrels who come into my yard looking for lunch. LOL
