Michigan falls to No. 4 in AP Top 25, will battle No. 8 Michigan State on Tuesday
The Wolverines (21-3) dropped one spot in The Associated Press' latest Top 25 after falling in overtime at Wisconsin on Saturday. The Wolverines fell to No. 5 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
Despite losing at Illinois during the week, Indiana remained the nation's No. 1 team after scoring a road win over Ohio State on Sunday. Duke (21-2) and Miami (19-3) jumped Michigan in this week's poll, holding down the No. 2 and No. 3 spots, respectively.
Gonzaga, Syracuse, Florida, Michigan State, Arizona and Kansas State rounded out the top 10.
Michigan State entered the top 10 for the first time this season, setting up the first-ever Wolverine-Spartan top 10 showdown on Tuesday (9 p.m., ESPN).
Elsewhere in the Big Ten, Ohio State dropped to No. 13, and Wisconsin entered the poll -- moving up to No. 20 after its win over Michigan.
All three of Michigan's losses this season have come against top 20 teams on the road, and the Wolverines have three wins (Kansas State, Ohio State and Pittsburgh) against top 20.
