ISSUE OF THE DAY
In terms of national rankings, this will arguably be the biggest regular season college basketball game of the season -- regardless of conference.
No. 1 Michigan and No. 3 Indiana will provide famed Assembly Hall with its first top three matchup ever. Which is actually sort of surprising.
Tickets for this game are selling for upwards of $1,000 on secondary markets, College Gameday will be in the house and basically anyone who enjoys the game of basketball will be watching.
Kind of a big deal.
As far as Michigan's concerned, this is a chance to prove any doubters that its worthy of its current standing. Plenty of people have argued that the Wolverines still haven't beaten a high-level Big Ten team, and some have even said the shine on Michigan's road win at Minnesota last month has worn off, as the Gophers have since struggled.
Beat Indiana in Bloomington, and everyone closes their mouth.
First place in the Big Ten is on the line, and the inside track for a No. 1 seed running through Indianapolis is also at stake.
For Indiana, this will be a game of emotion -- as the Hoosiers will likely try to feed off their raucous capacity crowd early and often.
For Michigan, this game can't be about emotion. The Wolverines need to play under control, they need poise and pace. They can't have a repeat of Ohio State, or this one will roll off the tracks very quickly.
Can Michigan handle the stage? Will the Wolverines be able to guard Cody Zeller with, or without, Jordan Morgan?
Will Michigan prove it deserves this No. 1 ranking?
This is a big one -- give me Michigan's main key to victory, and a score prediction.
