Another thunderous alley-oop from Burke to Hardaway quiets the crowd. Jordan Morgan with two buckets early in the half here, a nice start for him. Michigan pushed the lead back up to as many as 10.

The Wolverines completely feasted on Minnesota's turnovers in the first half, as the Gophers coughed it up 10 times. Tim Hardaway Jr. with 17 points in the first half, Trey Burke with 10. Michigan shooting 51.9 percent from the floor -- rebounds just 12-9 in favor of the Gophers.

Minnesota answers back with an 8-0 run of its own. The Gophers are actually shooting the heck out of the ball here, 9 of 15 from the floor -- 5 of 6 from 3. Trevor Mbakwe is willing his team right now. Michigan clinging to a lead, basically because of Tim Hardaway Jr. -- who has 15 points.

Michigan on a 10-1 run here. Tim Hardaway Jr. with 12 points. Trey Burke ripped his jersey, they made him switch it -- he's wearing No. 12 now, with no name on the back. Doesn't matter, he's got 8.

Andre Hollins went to the bench with two fouls for Minnesota, and the Wolverines rattle off six straight to reclaim the lead. Trey Burke has a triple, and is now on the bench getting a rest.

Tim Hardaway Jr. has a pair of triples, and Michigan has gotten off to a much better start here in a hostile environment than it did on Sunday. Jordan Morgan's looked rough early, Trey Burke is still forcing things -- but it's a tie game, for now.

Michigan's first road test of the season didn't end well.
We're about to find out.
The fifth-ranked Wolverines will look to rebound from its first loss of the season Sunday at Ohio State when they enter Williams Arena to tangle with No. 9 Minnesota (7 p.m., ESPN).
Tonight's game will mark the first time since 1977 that two top ten teams have battled inside "The Barn." The game was also declared a sellout earlier in the week.
It will be loud. It will be intense. And Minnesota will be fired up.
