ANN ARBOR --
Michigan 67, Binghamton 39
-- Final
No cover, but Michigan clinches the third 10-0 start in program history.
Michigan 58, Binghamton 29
-- 7:40, second half
Burke with 17 and 5 now, he's checking back into the game now. Lots of garbage time for everyone.
Michigan 52, Binghamton 27
-- 11:54, second half
Burke with 15 points, Stauskas with 12. Michigan clobbering Binghamton. Mitch McGary and Caris LeVert about to check back in for more minutes.
Michigan 44, Binghamton 19
-- 15:53, second half
Trey Burke now with 13 points and 4 assists, and Michigan is all over the overmatched Bearcats. Wolverines with another 8-0 run.
Michigan 34, Binghamton 14
-- halftime
Binghamton shoots 6 of 21 from the floor in the first half, and after a soggy start, Michigan closes the half on a 26-4 run to take a 20-point edge into the break. Trey Burke leads the way with 10 points and 2 assists, Glenn Robinson III with 6 points and 4 rebounds.
Michigan 27, Binghamton 14
-- 2:52, first half
Michigan caps off a 19-2 run with a tremendous no-look fast break pass from Tim Hardaway Jr. to Trey Burke. Burke now with 7 points. Caris LeVert has three assists off the bench. He figures to get plenty of run tonight.
Michigan 21, Binghamton 12
-- 7:59, first half
Michigan waking up a bit now, a 10-2 run gives the Wolverines their largest lead of the game. Tim Hardaway Jr. and Nik Stauskas each with 6 points, leading the way.
Michigan 11, Binghamton 10
-- 11:59, first half
I wouldn't say this is a dreadful start for Michigan, but it's really not good. Three turnovers and a 4 of 10 start from the field keeps this one close early. Not a lot of energy from anyone on the roster right now.
Michigan 5, Binghamton 5
-- 15:39, first half
Ugly start offensively for Michigan, Wolverines a bit flat out off the blocks here. Four early misses and a turnover keep Binghamton in this one through four minutes. Not a great start for the Wolverines.
• Michigan redshirt freshman forward Max Bielfeldt is dressed this evening. He's missed the past two games with an ankle injury. Not sure how much he'll play, but he's in uniform.
This isn't exactly the most thrilling opponent Michigan will face this season.
But regardless, the Wolverines have a shot to improve to 10-0 for just the third time in school history.
The only other two Michigan teams to start 10-0 were the 1985-86 Big Ten title team and the 1988-89 national title team.
No. 3 Michigan (9-0) welcomes Binghamton (2-8) to Crisler Center on Tuesday night, tip starts at 7 p.m. (Big Ten Network).
