Report: Glittersniffer Cosmetics of Dearborn Heights selling dangerous products?

Glittersniffer has a lot of fans, but a Michigan Public Radio report questioned whether the products are safe.

A southeast Michigan cosmetics company called Glittersniffer might be selling harmful products despite some complaints, Michigan Public Radio reports.

Dearborn Heights-based Glittersniffer offers eye cosmetics in vivid shades, but the company has used non-FDA approved soap dye pigments to achieve the look, according to MPR. Customers described reactions to the product that included burning and swollen eyes, and the Michigan Attorney General has received at least four complaints.
