Daily Dose of Health News: For that migraine, the best new trick for relief might be an old trick

Here's a look at some of the top health news being talked about around the U.S. and the world today:

• If you suffer from migraines, you've probably been willing to try anything for relief at one point or another. Turns out, that old pain reliever aspirin may be your best bet.

In a look a previous studies, researchers found it works to control the headaches in 1 of 2 people, the Los Angeles Times reported.

• Repeated studies have shown the health benefits of marriage. But new studies are showing a more nuanced view of the "so-called marriage advantage," the New York Times reported. Some, for instance, show it doesn't extend to troubled or stressful relationships.

• Suffering from worse allergies than usual this year? A report from the National Wildlife Federation says you should expect to suffer from increasingly bad allergy triggers in the future if climate change continues, USA Today reported.

• Researchers believe they may have found the gene that could unlock the secret to treating male pattern baldness, CNN reported.
