Musicians, lovers, and Valentine's Day burnouts are invited to spend the day after the big February holiday at the most unique musical benefit of the year: The Love Hangover. This nation-wide tradition is an evening of unusual pairings of local musicians convening to perform love songs, originals and covers, from the divine to the bitter, at Woodruff's in Ypsilanti.
Those of you who have BEEN to the Love Hangover need no convincing. Past performances have included Weezer's "Pinkerton" album played in twenty minutes, tap-dancers performing Magnetic Fields, and "Single Ladies" played to the tune of "Blister in the Sun." This year features performers include Misty Lyn, Annie Palmer, and members of Black Jake and the Carnies, Secret Twins, Fields of Industry, Ghostlady, and more!
