This concert is a unique coming together of music and four different religious traditions using choir music, instrumentals, sacred dance and sacred chanting. Performing will be the Temple Beth Emeth choir, the Canterbury House Ensemble, the Chinmaya Mission dance group and a local Sufi chanting group.
Music is a divine language that is spoken in almost every religion and faith tradition known to humankind. Shared in common, celebrated in wonder, each sacred tradition sings, plays, dances and/or chants in languages that express what is holy and connects us to what is divine. The community is invited to come and listen to new notes, see new movements and gain insights and new experiences into what others see as divine.
