“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” is written by Barbara Robinson and based on her book of the same name. Directed by Kara Cardella, it tells the story of the Herdmans, “the worst kids in the history of the world” (Shaun Fyall, Clarissa Grimes, Patrick Jones, Rachel Menge, Olivia Wash and Sammie Giannotti). No one is prepared when this outlaw family invades church one Sunday and decides to take over the annual Christmas pageant. Directing the pageant this year is Mrs. Bradley played by Lea Boyd. Her husband (Mike Jones) reluctantly helps, along with her children, Beth, (Anna Jones), who also narrates the play, and Charlie (Sushrut Athavale). None of the Herdmans has ever heard the Christmas story before. Everyone thinks the pageant will turn out to be a disaster, but they are pleasantly surprised.
