We always take off to the great white north and do nothing. Take the camper camping and sit by the like reading a good book. That to me is a great do nothing week. The we start school again. Wow. 2 weeks and we are back in action. Can't wait.

What to do on Labor Day? Labor, of course. There's never any end to the projects to catch up on...

Labor has become the victim of the Class Warfare being waged in our nation. Americans have become so complacent in taking for granted all the hard won benefits brought to us by the American Labor Movement. While we still lag way behind our more civilized European neighbors we are now giving back those hard won benefits. It truly is sad that this Right Wing A2.com can't even mention celebrating Labor as an option in this silly poll. I will celebrate Labor Day thinking of those walking the Mighty Mac Bridge with an ear to what our President has to say.

Traverse City has some great grapes and great wine tasting. They had that festival last week.

"Get Depressed" should have been an option in your poll. It probably would have won. There is no civilized way to celebrate the unofficial ending of summer.

I concur, the only blessing is the furnace and air conditioner rarely run in September.

Oh I don't know, maybe go to an event related to a celebration of the Labor Movement. Strangely, this wasn't even an option on this lame AnnAbor.com poll. Surprise.

O go to the Chelsea and Saline fairs, since Michigan is no more and enjoy one last roller coaster hurrah!

Doesn't seem possible that Summer is almost over already!! Geez-O-Pete! Squeeze and I were going to try to hit the West Coast (you know, Saugatuck) for a week. Oh well, maybe it is something we can do in the Fall. (BIG SIGH)
