By AnnArbor.com Staff

The Washtenaw Community College Gamer Club, Washtenaw County United Way and other organizations are teaming up for a big video game tournament at WCC on Saturday.

Doors open at 11 a.m. for the "G5" event, with games starting at noon, in the Morris Lawrence Building on the WCC campus. The event offers free food and free game play, though there is a charge for tournaments. A $5 per tournament charge (or $20 for all) applies to Halo Reach, Capcom vs. Marvel III, Pokemon red/blue/yellow, Mario Kart Wii, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Washtenaw County United Way will feature a raffle with prizes. This community event is designed to be fun for all ages. More information can be found on the WCC Gamer Club Facebook page.

The event is hosted by the WCC Gamer Club, Washtenaw County United Way, WCC Student Activities Office, Ninja Cartoon Party, Club DarCo, and Orchard Radio.

We're actually hosting Halo 3 instead of Halo Reach. You can find more information and rules for the tournaments here: <a href="http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=132538160093759&topic=233#" rel='nofollow'>http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=132538160093759&amp;topic=233#</a>!/event.php?eid=121355104604473
