The view from the booth: Off to a good start

Husband-and-wife artists Madeline Kaczmarczyk and Jerry Berta blogged throughout the Ann Arbor Art Fair two years ago for AnnArbor.com, and they're offering some updates again this year at they return to the South University Art Fair. Kaczmarczyk sent this initial report Wednesday night:

After a challenging setup on Tuesday (was it really 103 degrees?) the cooler temps today were welcomed and the light rain a delight!

Great to catch up with old friends, both artists and customers alike.Jerry and I always have new work and look forward to how it will be received. Some customers are disappointed that old favorites have disappeared. Others look forward to the change.

Change—it's inevitable as an artist. Not much time to walk around today—but looking forward to it tomorrow.
