The Brass Tacks Ensemble presents original one-acts

By Jenn McKee

Charlie Chaplin once wrote, "All I need to make a comedy is a park, a policeman, and a pretty girl" — so with this in mind, the Brass Tacks Ensemble will present an evening of original one-act plays this weekend, each of which employ these items.

Company members Isaac Ellis, Anne Rhoades, Rob Sulewski, and Elif Wisecup wrote the material for "A Park, a Policeman and a Pretty Girl," and the cast features the writers plus Steve Elliott, Chris Harrison, Rachel Robbins Toon, and Jamie Weeder. 'Park' plays this weekend only at Kerrytown Concert House.
