Arts Alliance now accepting grant applications
The Arts Alliance recently announced that it's now accepting grant applications from nonprofit arts and cultural organizations in Washtenaw, Monroe and Livingston counties for the FY2013 Minigrant Program.
Organizations may request up to $4,000 to support programs, and up to $1,500 for professional and organizational development.
The deadline for applications is Monday, October 1, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. Proposed projects must take place between January 1, 2013 and September 30, 2013.
The Arts Alliance administers the Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA) Minigrant Program for Region 4 that includes Washtenaw, Monroe and Livingston counties. Minigrants provide support for arts and cultural organizations providing high-quality programs that preserve, produce or present traditional or contemporary arts and culture and/or arts education, as well as programs that increase public access to arts and culture. To be eligible for the Region 4 Minigrant Program, an organization must be located in one of the three counties, have been a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization for at least two years and meet all the MCACA eligibility requirements noted in the Minigrant Guidelines, found online at http://bit.ly/ArtsAllianceMinigrants2013.
