Saturday was Star Wars Reads day across the country. The event is designed to celebrate both reading and the "Star Wars" universe, which is the subject of numerous books and comics that vastly expand the mythology of the original movies.
Costumed characters, giveaways and more were part of the action. Locally, events were held at both Barnes & Noble and the Ann Arbor District Library. Photographer Daniel Brenner captured these images at the AADL's downtown branch.
