Actress Lauren Graham — who now stars in NBC's "Parenthood," but is best known for her work on "Gilmore Girls" — will be part of the cast of "Scream 4," which is slated to start shooting in the Ann Arbor area on June 28.

Graham confirmed the casting on last night's "Tonight Show with Jay Leno."

She begins discussing "Scream 4" 2 minutes and 25 seconds into the segment, explaining that she will play Emma Roberts' mother, and that she knows nothing more about her role.

Here's the clip of her appearance:

So, for celebrity watchers keeping track, add Graham to the list of stars to look out for, which — according to the Internet Movie Data Base — also includes Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Hayden Panettiere, Lake Bell and Rory Culkin as well as Roberts.
