The Ann Arbor summer season got into full swing on Friday with the return of Top of the Park.
The free, outdoor component of the Ann Arbor Summer Festival takes place in the Ingalls Mall area on East Washington Street, offering live music, movies, food and other attractions.
Photographer Courtney Sacco captured these images. Top of the Park continues Tuesday-Sunday evenings through July 7.

And the city is footing the bill, I assume? Can we get some details on how much this is costing us? It figures that I would be paying for this 'Public Art gathering' in taxes I am already paying for it in time spent in traffic..... god bless

I love June in Michigan and to me that means Top of the Park! It has long become a tradition in my family and we have been going for some 25 plus years. I have noticed it has become bigger and bigger and in many ways better and better although I do sometimes miss the small town feel of it too. One thing I have noticed that seemed to start last year is the throngs standing in front of the band which was once the area reserved for dancing. What's with that? Hey, dance or get out of the way!
