The Firefly Club may be closed, but one of its traditions has found a new home.

The Sunday evening swing concerts by local jazz band Phil Ogilvie's Rhythm Kings are moving to Live at PJ's, a nightclub at 102 S. First St. (at the corner of Huron), starting this Sunday, Oct. 18, from 5-8 p.m.

Listening, dining and dancing are all promised to be offered at Live at PJ's. Admission to the sessions remains what it was at the Firefly: $7 general admission and $5 for seniors and students. There will again be a one-drink minimum. Free parking (on Sundays) is available in a municipal lot just across First Street. An initial four-Sunday residency is planned for the band, with possible alterations after that point.

For those who haven't heard them, Phil Ogilvie's Rhythm Kings are a crack ensemble playing in the style of the great 1920s and 1930s dance bands, using those bands' original arrangements. Their regular Sunday gig at the Firefly Club had a devoted following.
