Pioneer and U-M grad Pat Stansik - a local up-and-coming comedy writer/filmmaker who’s gotten serious attention online for videos like “Bros vs. Hipsters,” “I’m 24,” “Were You Listening to ‘Call Me Maybe’?” and “I Love You Denard” - has a new video starring U-M basketball star Zack Novak.

Called “NARPS” - which stands for “non-athletic regular person” - the short video tells the story of Novak going to a gym with his buddy (played by Kyle Anderson) only to learn that, to his horror, the place is crawling with NARPS.

The video debuted on YouTube on July 25. It has thus far has received nearly 3,500 views.

As for Stansik’s next project, he said in an email, “I'm also finishing up filming a music video for ‘I Love You Denard’ that will be premiering the week of the Alabama game,” so locals should stay tuned for that.
