Snow day snow dance
I'm not sure what is going on around your house today, but we are seeing some very interesting behaviors. . .
My children are putting on their pajamas inside out, and wearing them inside out. They are doing some kind of dance in front of the open refrigerator. White crayons are on the window sill. An upside down spoon is placed underneath the pillow. And lastly, they are flushing ice cubes down the toilet.
Now, if I hadn't seen their curious behaviors before, I might be concerned as they seem completely nonsensical and odd. However, I have seen the power of suggestion before and my kids clearly believe that these ritualistic behaviors have everything to do with being able to influence the weather and getting a snow day.
I think their rituals might work again tonight, but only time will tell! I can already sense that I am going to see this all repeat again, tomorrow night.

And apparently their efforts paid off! At 5:14 pm today, I received a district email from Liz Margolis that AAPS are closed for tomorrow.
