Little chicken wins big in kids' Halloween costume contest

Maybelle Hope Hart, 18 months, of Belleville

Maybelle Hope Hart of Belleville won the 2010 AnnArbor.com Halloween costume contest.

Dressed in a chicken costume crafted by her mother and grandmother, the 18-month-old received more than 55 votes.

In second place was Justin Maximilian Davis, 15 months, of Ann Arbor. Justin, who was dressed as a garden gnome, received 33 votes.

For taking first place, Maybelle's family will receive 4 tickets to see "Fancy Nancy & Other Story Books" on Dec. 12 at the Michigan Theater.
