Spooky craftiness for kids of all ages

By Tammy Mayrend

One of the best ways I can image to celebrate the season is through crafts. I remember growing up always creating my own costume, and while I am challenged to do that for my own children now, we do find many fun crafts to do together.

Check out some of the great craft activities I found available that are happening in the area in the next week:

Saturday, October 23 Michael’s Crafts 2:00-4:00 pm: Make-It Take-It Event. Create your own glowing creepy eyes with the free Crayola Glow Explosion products. This event is geared for kids ages 3 and up.

Monday, October 25 Ypsilanti District Library, 1:00-2:00 pm YDL-Whittaker in the Story Room, children can cut out wearable fairy wings, spider hats, or silly glasses to add to their costumes.
