This Sunday, families can enjoy a fun-filled day learning about the early days of Ann Arbor, and life in a cabin. Find out how things were done in the late 1800s at Parker Mill's Cabin Days!

Do you have a little Laura Ingalls Wilder or pioneer boy in your family? Maybe you've always been interested in the history of Ann Arbor during bygone years? What was happening when farming was king when Parker Mill began operating in the 1870s? No matter what your question or interest is, take the family this Sunday from 1-4 p.m. to celebrate Log Cabin Day days at Parker Mill.

Families can join in for several special activities including tours of the 1870’s log cabin and grist mill, candle making, tasting Johnny cakes, log cabin chores and games and more. Children are also invited to dress up in pioneer clothing for this day!

Parker Mill County Park is at 4650 Geddes Road in Ann Arbor. For more information on the event, check out the Washtenaw County website or call 734-971-6337.
