The Swell Season — AKA Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová, the musical duo from the movie "Once" — have announced a concert at the Michigan Theater at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2. Tickets, costing $29.50 and $35, go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.

Tickets will be available at LiveNation, the Michigan Union ticket office and all Ticketmaster locations.

However — and this is pretty huge — on Friday, there's an opportunity to buy tickets with no service charge. According to LiveNation, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, tickets can be bought at the Michigan Theater box office, 603 E. Liberty St., without the service charge. The Swell Season is the name adopted by the duo of Glen Hansard (once part of The Frames) and Czech pianist Markéta Irglová. The duo starred in and did the music for the much-beloved movie "Once," going on to snag two Grammy nominations and an Oscar win for Best Original Song ("Falling Slowly") from the soundtrack.

The Swell Season plan to release a new album called "Strict Joy" on Oct. 27.
