New episode of public TV's 'Under the Radar Michigan' to highlight Ann Arbor
The public-television travelogue "Under the Radar Michigan" starts its second season tomorrow with an episode focusing on Ann Arbor and Dearborn.
In each episode of the show, likably goofy host Tom Daldin travels to two or three locations in the Great Lakes State and highlights a few of the local attractions. A promo for the new Ann Arbor episode clearly shows scenes of Monahan's Seafood Market, Spice Merchants and the Michigan Theater.
According to UTR's Facebook page, the new Ann Arbor episode premieres tomorrow. Locally, "Under the Radar Michigan" airs on Detroit's WTVS, channel 56, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Further broadcasts are scheduled at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, 3:30 a.m. Wednesday and 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
This isn't the first time the show has focused on Ann Arbor. An episode last season visited several local favorites including Afternoon Delight, the Hands-On Museum and Zingerman's Deli.
The show airs on a number of public TV stations across Michigan.
