"Mystery Science Theater 3000" stars reunite for "RiffTrax LIVE: Plan 9 from Outer Space"
Fans of the cult hit Comedy Central show from the '90s, "Mystery Science Theater 3000," take note: on Thursday, August 20 at 8 p.m., "RiffTrax LIVE: Plan 9 From Outer Space" will re-unite the show's stars — Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy (Tom Servo) and Bill Corbett (Crow T. Robot) — and be broadcast in theaters across the country, including Ann Arbor's Quality 16.
The screening will feature a world premiere short film, as well as riffing on a color version of 'Plan 9,' Ed Wood's 1959 sci-fi/horror film that's regarded by many as one of the worst movies of all time.

OMG!!!!! This just made my day!!!!!! It's become tradition in my household to watch MST 3000 every Thankgiving, tradition began when they aired a marathon from way back in the day. This will definitely be a family event seeing this in the theater!!!!

I can't wait for this!! If you're an old MST3K fan, you have to check out rifftrax.com. Their new work is even funnier than the old shows.

Thanks for posting this! Personally, I can't wait for this. I'm sad that my boyfriend*, Joel, isn't involved but that doesn't matter b/c those guys rock :) *Don't tell my husband :) and er, don't tell Joel either since he doesn't know I exist :)
