'Mitten Mixer' to bring together singles for coffee and outdoor fun
Sure, you posted a lot of snarky statuses and links on Facebook about Valentine's Day being a commercial holiday. But really, wasn't that just a cover for your feeling that you will be forever alone?
Perhaps it's time you stopped trying to meet people in the bar and go somewhere where you will meet singles who love the outdoors just like you. The Mitten Mixer in the Pinckney Recreation Area might be just the event for you. If nothing else, you get coffee out of it.
This event should help prevent any camping dates from going horribly wrong in the future.

In the Silver Lake Day Use Area, on Silver Hill Road, off of Dexter Townhall Road, north of North Territorial Road.

In response to the first paragraph of this article only...Right, anybody who isn't in a romantic relationship is jealous of those who are and are desperate to be in one themselves, otherwise, they think they will be forever alone. Way to make singles feel insecure and manipulate them into going to an event. Or, maybe they are happy with where they are and who they are, are happy for their friends and family who are happy in their relationships, and aren't worried about being 'forever alone'. And, maybe, that is the basis for a solid romantic relationship.
