Michigan Theater celebrating U-M grad/filmmaker Bob Shaye with special series

The Michigan Theater has announced its lineup for the New Line and New Hollywood Cinema Series, which focuses on the legendary Bob Shaye, a U-M alum and founder of the acclaimed independent motion picture production and distribution company, New Line Cinema.

Movies in the series will be screened on Mondays at 7 p.m., and regular admission prices apply.

Here's the schedule:

2/18: "Pump Up the Volume"
2/25: "Friday"
3/11: "The Player"
3/18: "Dumb and Dumber"
4/8: "Last Days"
4/15: "The Last Mimzy"
