Michelle Chamuel wows 'The Voice' judges with Pink's 'Just Give Me a Reason'
"I really wanted her to have a song that was heavily built with emotion, and also to show her range," Usher, Chamuel's coach, explained to the show's viewers.
During one of Chamuel's rehearsals, the former Ella Riot/My Dear Disco front woman received some grandiose praise from Team Usher's mentor, Pharrell, who said, "I’ve been doing this for close to 20 years. I know genius, monster singers when I see them, (ones) that are going to have long careers. You are one of the ones."
As Chamuel sang "Just Give Me a Reason" on "The Voice"'s stage, Usher stood and pumped his fist; and after she finished, Adam Levine said, "I’m a fan of yours, Michelle. I’m just so happy and proud every time I see you perform. I think all four of us are. To be honest with you, you take the competition away from us, because we just are all so - we’re all beaming with pride over how much success you’ve had."
Usher, meanwhile, called it "the performance of the night."
Chamuel's fans may vote for her online up to 10 times until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21. Of the 10 contestants that remain on "The Voice," the 2 receiving the fewest votes will be eliminated on Tuesday night's episode.

She was terrific last night. I think she really has a good shot at winning. What do others think?

I think she'll be in the last rounds but Judith Hill has been the clear winner since her audition.
