A Detroit Free Press article about the new indie film "Love and Honor," filmed in the Ann Arbor area in 2011, focuses on the film's distribution strategy, which involves making the movie available via Video On Demand and iTunes before releasing it in theaters, in select cities.

University of Michigan screenwriting professor Jim Burnstein, who co-wrote the film (with Garret Schiff), told the Free Press, "This is where independent movies are finding their niche."

The article also notes the warm atmosphere that pervaded the film's set during the shoot, and includes perspectives from U-M grads Danny Mooney and Eddie Rubin, who directed and executive produced "Love and Honor," respectively.
