Local fashion designer Kelly Tinsley profiled
By Chrysta Cherrie
Fashion, entertainment and lifestyle publication 944 Magazine recently spoke with Kelly Tinsley, an Ann Arbor-based designer who studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and worked with Cynthia Rowley. Tinsley, who was a finalist in the Local Fashion Designer competition held during Fashion In Detroit last month, talks about what inspired her to leave the fashion mecca of New York in favor of her home state.
The profile is on page 81 of 944 Magazine's Detroit edition.
When she's not working on her own line or creating ensembles for the Ypsilanti-based shop Fantasy Attic Costumes, Kelly Tinsley is also a contributor to The Deuce section of AnnArbor.com, where she writes about about fashion and style.
