Chelsea native Jeff Daniels is making the promotional rounds for his new HBO television series, "The Newsroom," created by "The West Wing" and "The Social Network" scribe Aaron Sorkin.

The show launches Sunday, June 24 at 10 p.m., and tomorrow AnnArbor.com will publish an interview with Daniels about the project. In the meantime, check out Daniels' appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman" on Tuesday night. Much of the segment is spent discussing Daniels' personal travels by RV, but the last few minutes are dedicated to "The Newsroom."
