Jay-Z is one of hip-hop's most successful artists. Winner of several Grammy Awards, his numerous hits include "Show Me What You Got," "Girls, Girls, Girls" and "Big Pimpin'." His newest album, "The Blueprint 3," is slated for release Sept. 11. (The original "The Blueprint," from 2001, is often called one of hip-hop's best.)

The concert is a joint production of EMU's Campus Life, Student Government, Housing and the Convocation Center.
