Popular singer-songwriter James Blunt is slated to play the Michigan Theater on Wednesday, April 27.

There's been no formal announcement of the show yet, but the Ticketmaster website lists the show, as does Blunt's tour page. A presale is under way until midnight tonight; tickets go on general sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Tickets cost $44.35/$48.25.

Englishman Blunt shot to fame in 2005 with the No. 1 hit song "You're Beautiful" and the album that spawned it, "Back to Bedlam." He was nominated for several Grammy Awards in 2007, though he didn't win any. A follow-up album, "All the Lost Souls," was released in 2007. Blunt's latest album is the recently released "Some Kind of Trouble," featuring the single "Stay the Night."
