COCKTAILS

It's always "Better with Bubbles." Find out how to get your drink on in style at the Cocktail Class hosted by Tammy's Tastings at Live/The Last Word (formerly Live at Pj's/Goodnite Gracie's) on Monday. 7:30 p.m. Champagne is great and all, but why not make it boozier by mixing it in a cocktail? It also makes your cocktails classier. So win-win. $35 in advance, $45 at the door. Reserve your space at http://www.tammystastings.com/shop or by calling 734-276-3215. 102 S. First St., Ann Arbor. 734-623-1443.

FILM You would be a fool to not want to see “The Robot vs. Aztec Mummy” at Arbor Brewing Co. on Wednesday, hosted by WCBN-FM. 8:30 p.m. (Screening starts at 9.) It's all there in the title, but here are the details: A campy 1958 Mexican horror flick about a mad doctor who builds a robot in order to steal a valuable Aztec treasure from a tomb guarded by a centuries old living mummy. I'm not certain, but I think it's a documentary. Free. 114 E. Washington. 734-763-3500.

FILM

And speaking of things so bad, they're good: The "Found Footage Festival" comes to the Michigan Theater on Wednesday. 9:15 p.m. This festival will make you want to go buy a VCR (if that's still possible). New footage in the 2012 show includes The Sexy Treadmill Workout, clips of Kenny “K-Strass” yo-yo pranks, highlights from a 1986 video about how to care for your ferret, found classroom films from the 60s and 70s, and more. With commentary, jokes, and some comic schtick by the hosts. $11. $30 includes two tickets and a copy of the Found Footage Festival Vol. 6 DVD. Buy tickets at foundfootagefest.com and at the door. 603 East Liberty St., Ann Arbor. 734-668-8463.
