FoolMoon is a prelude to the annual FestiFools parade celebrating April Fool's Day, which takes place at 4 p.m. Sunday on Main Street. This year, a benefit concert has been added to the weekend events; it takes place tonight at the Blind Pig.

I was somewhat surprised at the number of small children out so late. Parade didn't start until around 8 or 8:30. Then again there was the usual number of people felt entitled to walk across Huron on Main against the traffic...with some of these small children!

Kids don't have school today; lighten up. And they had traffic directors at Huron and Main, so I know there were not kids running across at the red lights.
