Iggy Pop speaks about Tuesday's Stooges tribute to the late Ron Asheton

The Associated Press has interviewed Iggy Pop, the punk-rock pioneer who grew up in Pittsfield Township, about Tuesday's Ann Arbor homecoming show by The Stooges at the Michigan Theater.
Pop reflects on the show — a tribute to the late Ron Asheton, the Stooges' original guitarist — as well as his recent appearance on "American Idol."

Iggles is 62 years old, his real name is Jim Osterberg. He grew up in a trailer out on Wagner road. He was actually a good lookin guy in high school, was also voted most likely to suceed. You be the judge
