The stalls in the Ann Arbor Farmers Market were bustling with activity Wednesday morning for the spring launch of the weekly Wednesday market. Shoppers lined up to purchase locally-grown produce, plants and flowers, prepared food and handcrafts.
The Ann Arbor Farmers Market is a producers-only market, which means that all of the items available for sale are grown, baked or crafted by the vendors who sell them, organizers say.
The Wednesday Farmers Market runs until 3 p.m. and reopens as the Wednesday evening Market from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The evening marked was added last year.
