Concentrate has a profile of Ann Arbor's Locavarious, a start-up that works with local farms to provide subscribers with local, frozen produce all winter long. Owner Rena Basch jokes that the idea came from a desire to become involved in local food.

"I wanted to be in sustainable agriculture but my husband didn't want me to plow up the front yard," she is quoted as saying by Jon Zemke, the author.
