Jolly Pumpkin's Oro de Calabaza named one of 25 best beers in the world

By Jessica Webster

The Dexter Leader reports that Men's Journal has released its annual list of "The 25 best beers in the world," and Dexter brewery Jolly Pumpkin's Oro de Calabaza has made the cut. Calling the beer "oaky, spicy, floral and slightly tart," Men's Journal writers Christian Debenedetti and Seth Fletcher noted that it tastes great with wood oven pizza.

This isn't the first honor earned by the brewery and its and owner and founder Ron Jeffries. The Dexter Leader reports:

“So far it’s taken a silver medal at the Australian International Beer Awards and it’s won bronze and gold at the Great American Beer Festival - the most prestigious in the country,” Jeffries said. “Oro was one of the first beers that we made. It was the first beer period - the first and the second batches of beer that we brewed at this facility here in Dexter.”

Hi Jessica, I couldn't find any reference on the Men's Journal website regarding this award. They have a 2009 article referring to America's best beers, where the Jolly Pumpkin was not mentioned. Could you provide the direct link?
