By Jessica Webster

After the rousing success of the June 2009 Restaurant Week, Ann Arbor's Main Street Area Association has decided to add a second annual event to the calendar. Scheduled to take place January 17 - 22, Restaurant Week is designed to encourage people to sample the plethora of dining options in the downtown area at a reasonable, fixed price.

Each of the 26 participating restaurants will offer a prix fixe three-course dinner menu at $25 per person. Lunch is priced at $12, with some restaurants offering two-for-one pricing. Restaurants include The Chop House, Logan, Grange Kitchen & Bar, and Old Town Tavern. You can find the complete list on the Ann Arbor Restaurant Week website. Reservations for Restaurant Week can be made directly with the restaurants.

Perhaps I am the only one that was baffled by restaurant _week_ being six days? That said, I'm glad to see it return and early!

Maybe Fleetwood could have a special $25 family-sized omelet.
