(un)Corked Exploration Italy. 7-8:30 p.m. LePop Gallery, 101 N. Main St., Ann Arbor. Peerless Wine Selections is a local wine importer, located in Jackson, that specializes in smaller producers from Europe and South America. Rick Collette has been in the wine business for 12 years, and he has always found hidden gems in the most recondite corners of the world. One of his newest ventures has a few lines of Italian wines coming to our shores. The wine exploration event will feature a taste of eight Italian selections with Rick, Andrew, Eric, and Jorge. This promises to be a fabulous event with wine, cheese, and art. Tips with Tips: Basic Cake Decorating. 1-5 p.m.. Zingerman's Bakehouse, 3711 Plaza Drive, Ann Arbor. Before people find out how good the cakes taste, they comment on how good they look. Decorating might be the funnest part of cake making and it’s your chance to really put your personal touch on what you’ve baked. Learn the basics for a finished cake. We’ll split several cakes, crumb coat and ice them, and then add borders and a few flowers. Practice makes perfect so you’ll get plenty of that. Return to the Loire. 2-4 p.m. Morgan & York,1928 Packard, Ann Arbor. Join us for a second journey through the Loire River valley, this time tasting a fantastic sparkling wine made by hand from the same method as in Champagne. Also, try dry whites made from the Loire's two noble varieties, Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc. This event is free of charge, and no registration is required.

Fresh local produce and fruit are on offer, as well as local cheese, butter, honey, maple syrup, jams, eggs, meat, coffee and baked goods. Also available are flowers, plants, hanging baskets, planters, annuals, perennials, and vegetable and herb plants. There are a variety of hand-crafted items such as wood bowls and pens, jewelry, garden art, soap and more, all created by local artisans. Master Gardeners from the Michigan State University Master Gardener program are available to answer questions at the market during May, June and September. Bridge Cards, Senior Project Fresh and WIC (Women with Infant Children) Project Fresh coupons can be redeemed to buy fresh produce and fruit at our Market. Patrons can visit the Bridge Card booth at the Saturday Saline Farmers Market and obtain wooden tokens in $1 increments for the amount requested to be added to their Bridge Card. Tokens can be redeemed at the Tuesday Saline Farmers Market but can only be purchased at the Saturday Market. Monday
Milan Senior Nutrition Program. 11:45 a.m. Milan Senior & Community Activity Center, 45 Neckel Court, Milan. In partnership with the Washtenaw County Senior Nutrition Program, they offer a nutritionally balanced meal three afternoons a week: Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. There is a suggested donation of $2.50 for anyone who is 60 years or older and a fee of $5 for anyone under the age of 60. They do ask for 48 hour advanced reservations. Cobblestone Farm farmer's market. 4-7 p.m. Located at the historic Cobblestone Farm, this market will feature local, organically grown produce every Tuesday evening beginning June 19. No admission charge; price of purchases. www.cobblestonefarmmarket.com.
