Ann Arbor area brews a taste for craft beer

By Cindy Heflin

Concentrate has a nice feature on brewpubs in the Ann Arbor area and the beer culture that goes along with them.

The article mentions the original two Ann Arbor brewpubs, Arbor Brewing and Grizzly Peak, as well as Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales in Dexter and the new Jolly Pumpkin Cafe in Ann Arbor; the Corner Brewery in Ypsilanti, a sister establishment to Arbor Brewing; and the Original Gravity Brewing Co. in Milan.

The article notes craft beer in Ann Arbor owes its popularity, at least in part, to the number of educated people in town with good incomes and a fair amount of traveling under their belts.
