My Dear Disco storm video; Lilith Fair's local singer; Jimmy Kimmel unplugged
As reported on AnnArbor.com, when a storm interrupted the first night of Top of the Park on Friday, popular local band My Dear Disco — whose show was interrupted — played an impromptu set indoors. And now there's a video record on YouTube:

• Ann Arbor singer-songwriter Jetty Rae won the competition to be the local opening act when this year's Lilith Fair tour comes to DTE Energy Music Theatre.

• Times Square icon the "Naked Cowboy" is suing a so-called "Naked Cowgirl." (Neither of them, of course, is actually naked.)
MOVIES
• Speaking of naked, Helen Mirren has posed nude to promote her new movie.
• The Detroit Free Press reports that "Transformers 3" will do some filming in the Detroit area.
• "Twilight" fans are already camping out in anticipation of the next movie, ABC reports. And the Los Angeles Times offers a "cheat sheet" to the movie for both fans and newbies.
• A more or less unknown named Kenny Wormald has been cast to star in the upcoming remake of "Footloose."
ART & EXHIBITS
• The new Virgil H. Carr Cultural Arts Center has opened in Detroit, The Detroit News reports.

• This is very cool. Despite a power outage, Jimmy Kimmel went ahead and did his entire show — via webcam, EW.com reports, with lots of video clips.
• An upcoming episode of "The First 48" is expected to feature a Detroit case, the Associated Press reports.
• The Detroit News rounds up a few local connections on summer reality shows.
• "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" are seeking possible contestants in Novi tomorrow night, MLive.com reports. And just so you know, if anyone reading this tries out, you're dead to me.
